Sagayamatha Hospital situated at Coonoor in the district of Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu was started as a dispensary in the undeveloped area of Coonoor, a remote area adjacent to the parish church on 22^nd August 1976. Aim of starting dispensary was to give medical aid to the weaker sections of the society, irrespective of caste creed, or religion. Gradually the dispensary developed into a nursing home in 1983 and then to the present Sagayamatha Hospital in July 1989.

Besides the services in the hospital, we conduct free general medical camps and special free medical camp for women in different villages once in a month .Awareness classes also are taken on mother and child health, HIV, Aids, T.B, and Alcoholism etc. by our doctors.
